Dr Yeon received his BA and MA in Linguistics at the Seoul National University and his PhD in Linguistics at SOAS. He is the author of<em> Korean Grammatical Constructions: Their Form and Meaning</em> (volume 1 in Saffron Korean Linguistics Series) and co-author of <em>Teach Yourself Korean, Elementary Korean, Continuing Korean,</em> and <em>Integrated Korean: Advanced 1 and 2.</em> He has also published numerous articles on Korean grammar and linguistics.</p> <p><strong>Dr Jae Jung Song</strong> is Associate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Otago, New Zealand. His research interests include linguistic typology, Oceanic linguistics, bilingualism and Korean. He has contributed to linguistics journals including <em>Lingua</em>, <em>Linguistics, Oceanic Linguistics, Journal of Pragmatics, Australian Journal of Linguistics,</em> and <em>Language Sciences.</em> He is the author of <em>Causatives and Causation: A Universal-Typological Perspective </em>(Addison Wesley Longman, 1996), <em>Linguistic Typology: Morphology and Syntax</em> (Pearson, 2001), and <em>The Korean Language: Structure, Use and Context</em> (Routledge, 2005).
